生化全名為生物化學 當然與化學相關
若生化去掉化學部分便僅餘下分子生物學與生物學了
生化在大學部可分成四大部分
(1)生化小分子與大分子的化學 (2) 蛋白質/酵素 (3) 代謝(含細胞信息傳遞) (4) 基因相關的分子生物學
(1)生化小分子與大分子的化學
與有機關係 不用說了 有機化學書最後幾章都是這些
例: glucose-mannose-galactose 關係 (是epimer, 還是enantiomer, or diastereomer 
)
為甚麼飽和脂肪酸熔點比不飽和脂肪酸 高
(2) 蛋白質/酵素
酵素機制
蛋白質水解酵素 與 有機中 amide 的水解機制 是不是一樣也有tetrahedral transition state參與
(3) 代謝
脂肪酸生合成 (Claisen addition, reduction, dehydration, hydrogenation)
膽固醇生合成 (Claisen addition, Claisen addition, elimination, isomerization, carbocation addition, cyclization, oxidation)
Vitamin B6 的 (transamination, decarboxylation, transimination, racemization) 都因 (Shiff base, imine) 的參與
若只看括號中的 跟本以為是在說有機
有機可與生化的關係例子多得寫不完
有機除了可以增加生化化合物的特性的理解 更易記易懂
在應用有機電子移動理論時 代謝反應中反應物與所得生成物 再以結構與名稱連起來 更易記易懂
若無有機 則要硬記了
很多同學沒有把有機學會的 用在生化上 所以要背的更多

生醫記憶法Mnemonic
歐美等英語系國家多以專有名詞或概念 摘取其字首或部份關鍵字母串聯成有意義句子來記憶 此稱為Mnemonic(記憶法)
例如:

他說謊因為硼不能氧化氟。
